Thanks to a dear blogger Dash of www.dashashash.com, I was one of the two lucky winners of a dozen of empire macarons. I claimed my prize at Mercato Centrale in Taguig on the Macaron's Day 2011 last March 20 where the Philippines was able to celebrate this event together with France and other macaron's selling countries thanks to the Empire Macarons who sponsored the giveaway.

Of course, I would like to introduce the sponsor who sells this really awesome dessert - macarons! The Empire Macarons is the sole seller of macarons in the Philippines and on this special macarons day, they gave out macarons for free! Yes, you read it right - for free! Of course I was able to enjoy this special thanks to Dash of http://dashashash.com/ and the empire macarons for their giveaway.
It was so fun coming to the Mercato Centrale that weekend because I was with my two friends Ingrid Salud and Gillie Bagabuyo and my boyfriend Mikey de Guzman. We went around the three tents and sampled some awesome food. Pictures below are courtesy of my dear roommate and photographer friend Ingrid Salud.

If you plan on buying the empire macarons, I recommend the Pistachio, Strawberry and Cookies and Cream. Honestly, all the flavors are mouthwatering - I got to try a lot of flavors with my roommates since I won a dozen of macarons so I mixed a lot of flavors and we shared bites on each flavor. It was a delicious and sweet bonding moment!
This blog post was made as a sign of my gratitude for the ff:
Special thanks also to Ingrid's blog where I got the beautiful shots :
